Aiza Khan is a Youth Support Worker at the Urban Alliance on Race Relations. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in June 2020, with a focus on Global Health. Her interest in the social determinants of health have led her to pursue experiences in community engagement, advocacy and policy work. Aiza has led initiatives to drive youth engagement in community health, including in partnership with Toronto Public Health, the City of Toronto and as part of the University of Toronto International Health Program (UTIHP). She has previously taken on roles in outreach, health promotion and executive support. Aiza deeply values the importance community-engaged research and project implementation and hopes to continue this work at the UARR.
