Maame Dei is a Project Coordinator for Equity in Education & Anti-Racism, Anti-Oppression. She holds a Human Rights and Equity Studies degree from York University and continues to dedicate her professional and academic work to help break barriers and bring awareness. She has the proven ability to articulate complexity and nuances of social equity issues, systemic barriers and social disparities through communication skills. She has previously served as an Education Policy Analyst with a specialization in Race & Discrimination, a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Education Facilitator, a Social Issues Researcher and an Anti-Racism, Anti-Oppression, Anti-Black Racism Facilitator. Maame Dei uses her lived experience and seasoned career to allow me to thrive in this role.
