A transformative day in the heart of Toronto for Somali youth to connect with professionals, share experiences, and explore pathways into municipal governance and leadership. This Black History Month event celebrates identity, amplifies voices, and inspires future leaders to take up space in civic spaces.
Organized by Yasmin, a former Urban Alliance on Race Relations Diversity Youth Fellowship fellow with Councillor Amber Morley’s office, this initiative empowers Somali youth to drive change and tackle local issues.
Experience inspiring talks, interactive activities, and opportunities to build meaningful connections with city staff and community leaders. Dinner and refreshments will be provided. Questions or accommodations? Contact Yasmin Hashi at [email protected]
