UARR is hiring a Research and Evaluation Coordinator. This is a 3-month contract from June to August, 35 hours/week.

Job Title: Research and Evaluation Coordinator

Duration: June-August (3 months), 35 hours/week


Responsibilities:
• Conduct final research reports using primary and secondary research data and project
insights on the Coalition for Racial Equity in Education and the Diversity Youth
Fellowship
• Analyze primary and secondary data compiled by collaborative partners
• Engage with community stakeholders in supporting the assigned research initiatives
• Support the Evaluation of the Coalition for Racial Equity in Education and Diversity
Youth Fellowship activities
• Provide support with planning and executing community forums
• Update social media and website with content from projects
• Write position papers, policy briefs and statements for the organization
• Provide ad-hoc support as required


Qualifications:
• Completed or currently enrolled in graduate studies
• Strong academic and community-based research skills
• Experience in working on research projects, especially in anti-racism and education
• Experience in working with various diverse communities, especially on youth leadership
programs
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve and pay attention to detail
• Experience analyzing primary and secondary data and writing research reports
• Experience in writing statements and brief policy documents
• Knowledge of inequities in the Ontario primary and secondary school curriculum an
asset*


Compensation: $22-$25/hr
