Urban Alliance on Race Relations (UARR) is hosting a Racial Justice in Education (RJE) Summit on Thursday, July 2023 from 9am-5pm.

Gather with us to discuss anti-racism initiatives within school boards and to identify practices that make our school boards more inclusive. The event will include panel discussions, keynote speeches and resource sharing. We will explore ways to confront anti-Black racism, Islamophobia, anti-Asian racism and other forms of racism and Xenophobia. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
The event is in partnership with Urban Alliance on Race Relations (UARR), Ontario Alliance of Black School Educators (ONABSE), Chinese Canadian National Council Toronto Chapter (CCNCTO), Council of Agencies Serving South Asians (CASSA) and Tamil Canadian Centre for Civic Action (TCCCA).
Tickets are $75 per person but if anyone has financial difficulties in paying for the summit, we have subsidies available. Students will receive a discount or waived fee if requested.
